Are you an enthusiastic musician interested in collaborating at the international wind music festival Mid EUROPE this July? Then you’ve come to the right place!
About Mid EUROPE:
The international music festival showcases wind music in all its diversity, bringing a wide range of styles to the stage: from classical wind ensembles and symphonic band music to traditional Bohemian sounds, swing, and even rock and popular grooves. Over 1,500 musicians and more than 30 orchestras from 20 nations are expected to attend Mid EUROPE in 2025. It’s a musical highlight for musicians, guests, locals, and music enthusiasts alike.
When: A minimum of 3 days for orientation, between Friday, July 4, and Tuesday, July 15, 2025
Where: Schladming and Haus im Ennstal – Main venues include Congress Schladming, stages in Schladming’s town center, and the church in Haus im Ennstal
Your responsibilities:
- transporting instruments
- communicating with conductors and orchestra managers
- delivering and organizing percussion instruments
- setting up the stage, including chairs, music stands, and percussion equipment for each orchestra
- managing the backstage area: assigning dressing rooms, preparing beverages
- supervising the stages during concerts
What you should bring:
- good English skills
- strong communication skills
- team spirit
- you must be at least 18 years old
- knowledge of musical instruments is desirable
- experience as a wind musician or in percussion is an advantage
