Musikkapelle Zell am Pettenfirst

The Musikkapelle Zell am Pettenfirst, founded in 1889, is a dedicated community of about 40 active amateur musicians. Over the course of more than 130 years, the band has established itself not only as a musical institution but also as a social hub in the community. With passion and joy for making music, the members significantly contribute to the cultural life of the area.

The band has a rich history, marked by continuous musical and organizational developments as well as a series of remarkable successes in concert and marching competitions. Highlights in the recent history of the association include the 130th anniversary, which will be celebrated in August 2025, and numerous awards, including the Prof. Rudolf Zeman Prize and the Kinzl Medal.

Since 2020, the musical direction has been led by Simon Geringer and Manuel Pohn. The band continuously strives for musical excellence, as demonstrated by recent successes at the "Spring Sounds 2024" and the district brass band festival with marching competition in Gampern.

The Musikkapelle Zell am Pettenfirst remains a vibrant and vital part of the local cultural landscape, with its members fostering joy and a sense of community through their music.
